And So It Begins...Again

So after announcing the return of Two Chairs, the ball has started to roll.

We first performed this production last year at Greater Southern Missionary Baptist Church for their Black History program in February.  After its success, we mounted the show again in April at The Carr Center in Detroit.  The reviews were positive and people really liked the show, so we decided to do it again this year.

A few days ago, Lizz Jones (the awesome director) and myself walked through COCAD, the venue for this performance.  This venue is operated by Bryce Pinchum and Shad Bowens, and offers a wonderful open performance space.  Lizz was bubbling with ideas!  I have a few ideas of my own, but we'll see how the plans play out.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be meeting and finalizing plans before tearing them apart and starting over!  I'll try to give you updates weekly once we begin rehearsals; the cast and I will love to have you follow us on this journey, and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the madness of putting on a small production.

Thanks for stopping by.
